2001 - Restructuring and coordination of the intermediate level of instruction in the German Department. 1994 – 2001 Director of Emory’s 8 week Summer Abroad Program in Vienna 1995 – Language Across the Curriculum (founder and coordinator) 1985 - 2000 Introduction and supervision of undergraduate Tutoring Program based on the Dartmouth method of language instruction to supplement classroom teaching in the first year of language learning. 1987 – Executive Director of Consortium for German-in the Southeast which I founded with the support of the Atlanta Goethe Institute in 1988. The members of the consortium are Departments of German of about 20 southern colleges and universities.
