1988 Initiated and directed a two-day working conference with the support of and at the Goethe Institute Atlanta (February, 1988) to establish a Consortium of German in the Southeast. The purpose of this Consortium is to offer a permanent summer institute for German teachers in the region. A follow-up conference in April discussed the preliminary Constitution and organization of the planned consortium.
