Undergraduate Advisor
In addition, I am happy to meet with any other students currently enrolled in German or simply interested in learning more about our program and the opportunities that the study of German might make available to you. As I hope you are able to see from our website, there is a lot going on in the department, and there are also many exciting options for study, research, or work in the German-speaking world. Many of our students combine a major or minor in German with another subject, and I welcome the chance to discuss how this way of approaching your course of study might work for you. Once you declare a major or minor, you will be added to the major/minor Learnlink Conference so that you will have a way to exchange information and to keep up with the latest in the department. Please do not hesitate to email me with even the slightest question. To schedule a meeting with me, please contact Marion Hughes at 404.727.6439 or mhughe4@emory.edu. I look forward to meeting you and welcoming you to the Department of German Studies. Prof. Hiram Maxim
