Congratulations to Senior Lecturer Marianne Lancaster on her 2009 Emory College Language Center award for excellence in foreign language teaching. This is the first time it has been awarded to a member of the German Studies Faculty!!! Prof. Caroline Schaumann recieved an Emory College Research Grant in Humanistic Inquiry for travels to Berlin and London in the Spring of 2010 Prof. Erik Butler was invited to Columbia University to give lecture Prof. Caroline Schaumann presented at the Jewish Studies Roundtable ___________________________ Jeff Schram, a German major who graduated in May, received one of the six university's Humanitarian Award for 2009.
